I'll be honest... I don't think it truly hit me until I was waiting to walk down the aisle and they pulled the blusher over my face! I kept waiting for it to hit me, too, and it really never did LOL!

It never hit me as an 'OMG I'm getting married' kind of thing...it was just complete happiness...and surprisingly, a feeling of calmness. I was waiting and waiting to be like holy cow...but it was just all smiles

It hit me the Wednesday before when I was leaving work, and seeing all my OOT at my house. I was 'OMG I am getting married this weekend!'

Re: Ok in all seriousness...
For me it was the day before when i went to my parents house for the RD and saw my dress hanging. All the stress over details and vendors just went away (cuz at that point there's nothing more you can do!) and i just enjoyed every moment!

Not until the day of. I think when they opened the door and I was about to walk in, I just froze. I saw the aisle, the people, and I literally had to remind myself to walk.

I am with you. I have dated my FH for 4 years & keep saying soon, soon (meaning to be engaged) and now that I am and am waiting for the wedding....I keep wondering. 'Is it really going to happen?'

yea for some reason i feel like the day is never going to come, i feel like its a day ill always be waiting for....so im sure when it actually does come - in 63 days it will feel REAL - at least i hope it does! i just cant imagine not having to wait for it anymore, knowing that its going to be over soon almost makes me a little sad!

I couldn't have put it better. I think it'll just seem far away until I'm walking down the aisle!

that morning when the hair lady showed up. i was so busy the week before that it didn't really hit me that it was so soon, but when i woke up in the hotel and my BM's arrived and the hair and make-up people showed up, it all became so real.

Re: Ok in all seriousness...
It wasn't real until my mom helped me put on my veil. That really cemented the whole day for me!
