So my Mom is hosting the wedding (ie paying for it). She lives on LI and I live in Maryland. Do you think the response cards should be sent back to her address or mine? What is the proper etiquette here? Thanks in advance for your help! Mom wants them to go to her and I want them to come to me Hahaha!

My parents are hosting the wedding and live on LI. FH and I live out of state but together, although I will be in NY for 7 weeks this summer (overlapping with a lot of our RSVP window). As much as I would have loved to have the cards come to us, they are going to my parents for a few reasons.
1. it's 'proper ettiquette' to have the rsvp cards go to the host 2. i'll get to mailbox stalk for part of the time 3. my mom will probably keep everything more organized -- she's really on top of everything 4. i am really grateful for my parent's help, and they really want the rsvps going to them, so i gave in

i'm not sure what the proper etiquette is but i want mine to go to me simply because i know everyone i'm inviting and my future mother in law doesn't. so if i need to call them if they don't rsvp in time i can. besides i want to keep track of who's coming, who's not, and who's replied so i know what to do with the seating chart. good luck!

My parents are hosting the wedding too. I'm in Florida and they're in NJ. I think it would just be easier for the responses to go to them. Not sure what's the proper thing to do, but that's what we're going to do.

i think it will be bad enough if they are coming to my mailbox, but at my mom's - i dont know how i would be able to stalk him then... i am DEF going to have them sent to me

lol i did that every day b4 our engagement dinner. now will have to calm down till shower time lol
