Ok ladies, I need help with one more: Who's been to St. Lucia? Sandals Halcyon vs. Rendezvous

Ok, we are still narrowing down the vacation options and St. Lucia is our last one (I think!). We are looking at Sandals Halcyon Beach and Rendezvous. Has anyone been to either, particularly recently?? Are they worth it?? Is either one run down in any way? I had read some bad reviews of both and am getting extremely confused...

We visited the Halcyon in July. We went there for an 8pm dinner. there was no one walking around. We went into there night club and there was barely 20 people in the place. If I remember correctly they only have 3 or 4 restaurants and one of the you need reservations for. The one we went to eat at- The Pier is incredible. From what I am told it tends to be an older crowd and it did not take us very long to walk around the whole resort. They also close their pool at night. It did not seem to me that it was run down in any way.

Have you looked at the other 2 Sandals on St. Lucia? Both of those are great!

We stayed at the Golf & Spa, and it was AWESOME
We ventured over to the Halycyon, and like swags said, there was no one around.
