1/4 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 inch piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced
2 scallions, chopped
2 stalks lemongrass, thinly sliced, optional
6 sprigs fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
2 pounds london broil or flank steak

Combine all of the ingredients except the steak in a large container. Add the steak and turn to coat in the marinade. Let the meat marinate for up to 5 hours.

Heat the broiler or light the charcoal grill. Broil or grill the steak 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, brushing occasionally with the marinade. Let the cooked steak rest for 10 minutes before cutting it into thin slices.

If you want to use the marinade as a sauce, take out the ginger and lemongrass, then bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat. Add a little cornstarch mixed with water to thicken.

This may be a cop-out. But, as an easier alternative, we use the Lawry's Teriyaki marinade with Pineapple Juice and it is SO GOOD!

Mine may be the easy way too - but I just use crushed garlic, light teriyaki sauce and black and red pepper for my marinade. Broil to my liking and serve. Quick easy and yummy!

I use worstershire sauce, minced garlic, a few sliced onions, and maybe a little italian seasoning...and let it broil until it's medium cooked

Marinade your London Broil in teryaki for about 5 hours. Chop up garlic (a garlic press is awesome) mix the garlic with black pepper and a pinch of salt, cut 3 or 4 slits on top of your london broil stuff the garlic and pepper mixture into the slits. Broil or bbq

I use balsamic vinegar and white wine. Season it with s/p, dried oregano, garlic powder. Taste and adjust. I like to marinate as long as possible - up to overnight.
