Ok-- my official decline rate!

I have FINALLY heard from everyone.. and here are our stats.. for other girls trying to figure it out..

I just want to say- we thought we'd totally be OVER... and we are not.

Invited: 273
Yes: 205
No: 68
Decline Rate: 24.9%

we sent out STDs to all our friends and close family and something to all OOT.

It was mostly my dad's friends-- some OOT and the older OOT from FH's family who declined.

I'll actually will now have two LIW brides at my wedding since we are 5 under! My minimum was 210.

We invited 292, we need to hit 185. So far, 128 yes, 17 no, 2 weeks to RSVP date. It is nerve wracking!

It sure is! We never questioned that we'd hit 175, but now we're estimating that we might not make it. Two and a half weeks till we can start calling!

Randi-that's great! Thanks for sharing your stats too. I'm a little worried that I should've done a B-list. We're only inviting 130 and our minimum is 125! We think almost everyone is coming --hopefully anyway!

don't be so hard on yourself! it's totally expected to have around that percentage of people say no, no matter what number you start with.

ha-- becks23 and belle22274 (a fellow Carltun bride)... we have become good friends and IM buddies throughout the last 8 months.. and we are neighbors!

I know what you mean-- we have had a high decline rate-- but your's is good-- you are just having a smaller wedding... Try not to take it personally-- I am sure all these people still are happy for you and your FH!

Not many-- luckily it was older relatives or relatives of FH's that I am sure I will never meet anyway.. I mean- it's still a big wedding and going our minimum would have caused a major domino effect on our financials.
