Ok, my shower was yesterday... (updated with more details)
and I had a wonderful time. It was held at the Jon Thomas Inne and the food as usual was fantastic and service impeccable.
There were about 24 people there and they were so generous that I dont know if I will ever thank them enough. My sister out did herself and considering she has an 11mo old baby and works full-time, I know that was difficult for her. I know my mom helped her and it showed. They used Black Forest Bakery and they made a special cake for her, they bought a Betty Boop doll (which is much bigger than the dolls they normally use) and they made it into a bridal doll cake. The baker offered to ride in the car with my sister just to make sure nothing happened to it. I cant wait to show you pics, I have never seen anything this amazing. Everyone played Bridal Bingo and had a great time. The gifts I got were also amazing, microwave, gc's, cookware almost everything and anything I needed. I also got besides my Lenox (which I collect) cake topper (Yeah!!!) I also rec'd my Lenox cake knife and server. Then, my grandmother who is ill and couldnt make it sent me an engraved Waterford cake knife.
The film should be ready today or tomorrow, and as soon as it is, I promise to upload some pics.
