we were just in Vegas... there must have been an 80s party that everyone was going to because these people were leaving the hotel all dressed up and looked awesome!! I almost freaked... FI thought i was crazy... one lady was wearing actual pink jelly shoes!!!!

I absolutely love 80's music.. Seriously! My whole ipod is full of music from the 80's.. it out of control. Im going to Culture Club for my birthday too. The music from the 80's is sooo much better then most of the stuff out today.

The 80s were awesome!! Much better than the 'music' they play today! But I love the rock from the 60s and 70s, I think I was born in the wrong decade.

I love the music from the 80's especially the freestyle and my Dj is around my age and knows exactly what I want so I am really excited for this

i know i'm on the wrong board.. but i just wanted to add.. that we already spoke to our dj.. and we're only playing oldies and stuff from the 80's.. thats the stuff i know i always sing and dance along to.. so we figured what the heck

Speaking as a person who had her Bat Mitzvah in the 80s in the PRE-DJ era... I have this to add. You do NOT want a wedding band to play 'Sweet Dreams are Made of This' or 'Abracadabra' by the Steve Miller Band. Just not good. Be grateful you have the option of having a DJ to play your 80s music properly. I am having a band, but I assure you I will not have them play 'Talk Dirty to Me' by Poison.

Oh I like 80's but I also love freestyle!
I have to make it diverse in every way so everyone gets to hear a little something they can relate to,
Up to me......freestyle,80's and some techno!
