Ok need some help

So I'm about to order those little jewelry pouches for my girls (see This is Adorable! thread). But I have a question.

I have one BM that I haven't asked yet b/c she lives in Connecticut and I've been very hesitant on asking her. She's an old college roommate and I haven't seen her since last
Christmas (2007) but we speak every couple of months. When I got engaged, we were supposed to get together to celebrate, but she had to cancel. We never rescheduled. She wasn't able to make it to my e-party either. So I just feel like she hasn't been making much of an effort to meet me halfway (like in the city or something) to get together. So I've been debating on asking her. I'm still leaning towards asking her, but I want to do it in person.

Now the question is this........I want to order these pouches, so should I order her one? I ordered her a tote bag already, but those aren't personalized. The pouches will have the girls' first initials on them, so I won't be able to give to anyone else if things fall through.

Also, what do you think of giving these as part of a gift for ceremony readers if we get them a piece of jewelry also?

i was thinking about this also.. there is a girl i want to ask but i person and i still havent seen her yet.. i was reading the description of the pouchs and it says the monogram is a clip on button... so im thinking you can always take it off

i would probably just order it in case...if you end up asking her you don't want to not have one for her...

are you putting their full names or just first initial....if its just the first initital and you don't end up asking this girl i am sure you can hold onto it and give it as a gift to someone else with that initial down the road..haha..

maybe just hold off on ordering her one just yet, or wait to order them for all girls until youve met up with her

If you are still leaning towards inviting her, I would order it. If you don't give it to her for being your bridesmaid, you can always give it to her for her bday or some other time. At least you'll have it and not need it.

its cheap enough that if you order it now and decide not to ask her its not that big of a deal. Also if its a button on initial you can always take it off and use it for yourself!! (This is why the bridesmaid stuff I bought already doesnt have monograms on it lol)

I would, but I already have 3 other girls I want to do a reading and I can only have a max of 3 readings.

This is what I was thinking. Nothing else I bought has been embroidered also for this reason. But I will have these done just because it's not something they'd be carrying around in public.

I looked at the North Ritz, it was booked already on my date, so i booked at the floral Terrace which I LOVE....
And i see you are getting married on my birthday :)

I wouldn't ask her... to be quite honest I know that when you get married you have to do the right thing when it comes to some people, however why should you make exceptions for people who haven't been doing the right thing by you.

I have less BM then GM and i refuse to add extra poeple who haven't done right by me as BM to make it even. Maybe i'm a

I would say get it. You can always give it to her as a gift later down the road if you decide not to ask her.

This actually has nothing to do with the BP being even. It's already way off as it is, so that's not even a thought for me.

I'm thinking I may just buy it and if I don't ask her, then I lose $7. It's not the end of the world.

Also, what do you ladies think of these for my readers with a piece of jewelry (not necessarily DOJ)??? Would it be weird giving them one of the same gifts that the BM's are getting?

I dont think giving them the same/similar to the BP is a good idea...
