OK---next step (with poll)

Now that we have a place.....gotta make a few more decisions. Photography. I've read a lot of the threads on photgraphers in the area and there are a few that I think I've narrowed it down a bit. So, I need your help. There is also a woman in Florida who's work I fell in love with online and I'm thinking about taking a trip down there to look at her photos in person. But, in the meantime, I need a poll on who might be the best in photography around here. We only want a few of the 'traditional' photos......we would love to have someone who has their own style in photography and doesn't make you pose too much or gets in the way (I guess more photo-journalistic). I won't tell you who I'm leaning towards until the poll is over. ALSO, need to get some ideas of the costs of these guys. For a couple of them, I got numbers from other threads, but if you girls can give me some general ideas for these vendors, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

The only on your list I've met with was B rett M atthews. I think they quoted us around $4500 for 3 parent albums and our album. The person with met with was really nice. I've heard both negative and positive things about brides' experiences with their company. I know Bethsiar used them for her wedding and her pics were beautiful. Good luck with your search!!

i didn't meet with anyone on your list in person, though i did a ton of online research before i booked my photographer. i actually fell in love with photos from imagine studios, and booked them on the spot! lia is truly an artist - if you want someone a little un-traditional, i highly recommend her.

some recent brides have used them so there are plenty of proofs if you wanna do a search.

my vote is for B rett M atthews. I am using them, along with 4 of my friends. Their work is truly unique. We just took our e-pics and it was so much fun. We are using Chris and Rob

Thanks girls.....I'll definitely check out B rett M atthews (that was the one I was leaning toward) and will call Imagine also. Can someone bump Bethsiar's photos for me? Or are they in the photo album section?

I can not say enough good things about duet. I loved them and so did my family and friends they were great. I had a very emotional day and was afraid that some things were going to be overlooked but they got photos of every sentimental moment and then some. They are nicely priced and the job the do is out of this world.

I showed my parents a lot of the pics that are posted on all the websites and my parents seem to love Duet and Perceptions. They ruled out B rett M atthews immediately (kinda funny).....so, although the costs are going to be split, we'll have to work out some sort of compromise. I love Duet's photos also, and they seem to be extremely popular on this board, so I'll make my first appointment with Duet and go from there. THANKS again ladies!
