Ok no one was helpful on another board...sooo

I believe we are definitely moving our wedding date up from May of 09 to the end of Sept or the beginning of Oct of 08. I still have a little bit more conviencing and will not know definitely until June when we book a RH but I am pretty sure it will either be Sept 27th or Oct 4

But now I am worried that my CH can't be outside for a night time wedding. We want to get married on a Sat and have the CH at around 6:30pm but haha I checked the sunset for that day and it said 6:41pm

Are any of you Sept Brides have a evening reception and your CH outside?? I just dont want it to be dark out and no one being able to see outside haha

I just went to a wedding in Sept, I think it was the 22nd and she had an outdoor CH at the Fox Hollow. It was dark but they had all of the lights on! It was beautiful!

we are doing our CH outside.....its half in half out and we are arriving by boat....it will be dark out but with all the lights and what not i think itwill still be pretty

I think you should decide if you are going to have the wedding earlier first. And then start going to halls and seeing what they will offer you. Will they have an earlier CH or will they have lights on. For late Sept. will they provide outdoor heating since the evenings can get chilly? Or maybe you will find a hall with the CH room with big windows and a gorgeous garden view so it may 'feel' like outdoors but maybe offer more comfort.

my CH starts at 6 so the reception goes till 11. if you start your CH then you can have it durring sunset, that could be really pretty!! (and it wont get dark till the very end)

Yeah I cant say for definite its going to be in Sept cause FH is a pain and wants to JUST check as he would say the dates for 09 haha

But thank you....I am 98% positive that we are having our wedding in Sept of 08 haha

Thanks Jenn...thats what I was hoping...

and we want to have candles with low flowers as our centerpieces so that would be a nice way to incorporate candles with the CH as well...since it will be getting darker...

was it cold though?

if your thinking of MG they have GREAT lights and i actually think it looks prettier at night all light up and if your worried about cold.. they have space heaters that look like free standing lights their actually pretty..

Not at all... I was wearing a strapless dress with a cardigan over it and I was fine...

Ohhh I am liking this place more and more haha

and when I was telling Chris all the info you FMed me last nigth he was getting excited but I think he was being more sarcastic ...but he def said it sounded like a great place!!

yea we want to get married in a Church as well...but I am going to make it early so we can have time for pics and not such a late CH so we can have a nice sunset for it....
