ok, not to be a Drama Queen...but

Last Sat. night we celebrated my b-day , FH rented the whole VIP room @ a lounge, it was alot of fun but...

My best friend & MOH didn't show up,. or return phone calls or txt messages....

I'm not sure how to handel this, I know she's alright, I'm just dissapointed, I kept going to check to see if she was coming in to the lounge all night, ....

She really dissapointed me! I& Now she's unreachable? How can I depend on her to be responsible to be my MOH? How can I replace her w/o killing the friendship?

Thanks, for your advice ladies!!

I would call and see what happened - try to act cool as if it not bothering you that much. If you dont like her answer as to why she never called you back, then tell her that you were really hurt, and you felt like it was very irresponsible of her to ignore you when all you wanted was a response as to whether she was going or not - and then tell her that you are re-considering making her the MOH.

Would you still include her in the BP - or not?

Good Luck!!

Thanks, I've been leaving messages w/ her boyfriend(they live together)& on her cell. I think she knows sh's dissapointed me & hurt me. She was so excited then... no show? ***?

I'm not sure if I would still haev her in the BP, She 's my best friend & I love her, I' m angry at her right now & dissapointed. Seriously This is strike 2 I now know that I can't depend upon her to follow through on her word. It just really makes ,me sad.

With all that said; ideally she'd become dependable again... I'm worried about her this is the 2nd let down in 2 months. She hasn't let me down ever in the 6 years before...

Since that is so unusual for her, you might want to ask her if there is something that's going on in her life that is bothering her. You could tell her you notice a change in her, and if nothing is wrong with her, you can give her the option to back out of her position in the BP, since she doesn't seem to be totally with you. Sorry about your bday!

sorry you were disappointed. that stinks. maybe something's going on with her and that's why she didn't make it. try and give her the benefit of the doubt before you decide to toss her from the BP. she might be so embarassed that's why she's avoiding your calls.

I wouldnt get too upset about it just yet, I would be upset too though. But until you hear from her try not to get too angry-you never know something might be going on that she just doesnt really want to talk about...she may also know that she dissappointed you

I know exactly how you feel I read an article about longer engagments (over a year or so) forewarning brides about asking BP too early because friendships can change over a year. I asked someone to by my MOH and I am already regreting it because I don't feel I can REALLY depend on her. But at least find at what her reasoning is first before you get yourself too upset. Who knows she may have a very valid reason.

Sometimes...and I am so guilty of this myself, we may tend to be so caught up in our wedding that we fail to see what's going on with others around us. If she has let you down 2 times, and this is something uncharacteristic of her, there may be something going on there...maybe she's hesistant to tell you because she doesn't want to rain on your parade!! Have a good old fashion heart to heart with her!!

Thanks, ladies for all of your support, it made me feel better about this whole situation.. I feel a little silly complaining about my BFF on here, when some of you gals have real dilemias (sick realitives, & problems in the work place, etc.)

Thanks
