Ok, now I am getting fed up. Help please!

I am having a terrible time finding a hair person.
I had a trial today and I didn't book this person.
Please list who you are using and their phone # & cost please?

i am using my regular hair person who i have been using for 10 years.

her name is karen. she is located in ozone park. the hair place is called joseph peters

i just cant remember phone number but i am sure you can get it from information

her prices i think are really reasonable. i get a cut, color and style from her and its like 40 bucks.

i am going to her for my hair for the wedding and she has done big fancy hair stuff for me for many formal occasions and has charged me between 30 and 50 dollars

What are you looking to have done?

The hair person I used did a good job for a simple style. If you want something really elaborate, she probably isnt too great.

There are many people that the NYC girls recommend but they are on the pricey side - but worth spending the extra $$ if you are unhappy with everything else.

Hi! I don't know where you're located but I am using Anthony Cole in Bellmore. I think Anthony charges about $85 for the hair on the day of. The number is 221-1840 and if he can't do it, there are alot of other great people there! Good luck!!

I am looking for a simple style. Half up/half down.
I saw someone today who charged me $45 for a trial. This person didn't even wash my hair or do a full updo for that cost, also this money doesn't go towards the day of like alot do.
Also what I got done today wasn't even worth $45, trust me!

I am going to see Jennifer from Fairytale which is who I should have went to first as I originally had planned, however, please post who you use(d) just in case?

my girl is really good. my hair does not move when she does a formal due for me. she did this really pretty curly up due thing and at the end of the nigt when i took the hair pins out, my hair was still in its position and the next morning when i woke up as i was too tired to take a shower that night, not a piece of hair was out of place.

she doesnt charge a lot but you definatly get a great due and not a hair will be out of place.

I had only 2 hair trials, but at both of them the hairdresser advised against washing the hair. They both preferred working with dry hair. I was told that I should have clean dry hair when the hair person comes on the day off.

I used Bessie from Beautiful Girls for both hair & make-up. Her # is 718-707-1089. From what I remember, I paid $50 for trial.

If your makeup person does hair as well, I would try to book her for both. It makes things a lot easier day of.

just a thought... If you do a search on here, most everyone loves the way Jennifer did their hair and make-up! Few have complained but I expect that in a hair/make-up person... I spoke with her on the phone! The biggest sweetie! Jenn- I think you will like her!

Jennifer from Fairytale did my hair and my hair stood up all day and I was dancing up a storm!!! She did a great job.

(Please no one get on my case but I personally didn't like my trial with Bessie my hair fell by the time I got home and I only live 15 minutes away).

i go to a place in Baldwin, Victorian House ( I think) My hair dresser used to be at CBF in Merrick and now moved there. She is really good. I know from my sisters' weddings she didn't wash our hair bc then it would be too fine. She told us to wash our hair the day before and not the day of. If you want more info let me know.
