OK, now I am RSVP venting

our RSVP was Sept 5th (2-weeks before final count/payment) . Finally 4 sets of couples responded,,,with NOs (1 of them at first said yes). And we already paid for them all too.

THIS IS WHY WE ARE DOWN-SIZING TO CLOSEST FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!

I know how you feel

I had someone RSVP the day before the party telling me no and this was via email. I had already marked her as a no, but the nerve the day before to email me you werent coming.

I had a few 'yeses' and they didnt show.

You cant let this upset you. Its fustrating, but relax.

yeah, this was via email too. 'Sorry but YXW & XYZ can't make it, but look for a package from up girls. We will definetly make it to the wedding.'

I should have know better and just assumed they were nos and not counted them in number

what makes it even funnier, is one of the girls (was the one a few weeks ago I vented) when she emailed me 'I broke up with my boyfriend, I am definetly coming, and I wll let you know before the party if I am going to a girls friend of mine instead.'

wouldnt it be a kicker if their wedding invitation got lost in the mail

our guest list became a little shorter

wow no place card for you at the wedding, i am sorry see you replied yes and I figured like last time even though you said yes you really didnt attend. But be happy to know their is always a seat for you in the bathroom

Dont worry some people brush off an engagement party more than a wedding just because you got alot of no's now dose not mean you will for the wedding. I invited 130 people to eparty and only 80 are coming alot were out of towners. Some of the out of towners did not even respond and when my mom called them they said oh i figured she knew we were not coming but we will be their for the wedding. Also some of the no's are starting to send presents now so at least that is a plus. Keep your head up the people who really want to be their will be their.
