Well, after thinking about it for the past day, I am wondering about my dress. I went to try it on yesturday and had my friend take a couple of pictures. I did not like how the pictures came out and deleted one, but looked at the other again. I don't think I looked good at all! I think I looked frumpy, actually. I love the dress itself, but I am worried that it doesn't look good on ME! I don't want to get a different dress, but I'm scared that FH is going to take one look at me comming down the isle and think I am a white fluffy mess!

Ask a bunch of your friends and family who are honest. Key is honest for your peace of mind. Can you bring them for a fitting now? Pictures don't always tell the truth. Has it been altered at all yet?

it hasn't been altered yet. The top part fits perfectly and will not have to be altered, but it just needs to be shortened. When my mom saw me in it last month, she loved it. My friend that saw it yesturday with me seemed (IMO) to be more enthusiastic about the way it looked on the hanger rather than on me. I wish I didn't delete the pictures because then I would show them! I don't know if it's because it's around that time of the month and I am bloated and going nutty. I am just scared now.

oh than I can honestly say you are being SILLY you looked stunning in that dress I was thinking that the whole time you and your mom were standing in the mirror I remember thinking that dress was made for you!!!!!! your dress is in already??????

I actually bought it off the rack...the sample was brand new and it did not need too many alterations. Maybe I should go back in about 2 weeks after the swelling and bloating has gone down (TMI??). Am I really being rediculous? I just want to look perfect...I have this vision of the look on FH's face as I walk down the isle. I actually have a stomach ache from this!

We all worry about how we'll look! And my FH said I will look gorgeous no matter what. I'm sure most of our FH's would agree. But that doesn't mean we won't stress it.

brides are good at that aren't we. FH said I could come in sweat pants and he thinks I would look gorgeous. I knew that this was going to be the toughy for me. I told eveyone...all of the planning will be easy, except when it comes to how I look. Ack! That sounds so shallow!
