how many of you are doing your own nails or fake? My problem is that if I do my own, which I usually do, they chip right away. So I would have to get my nails done ASAP that morning. But, if I get fake ones then I can get them done a day or 2 before and save time the day of.

I'm sure mine will be fake. Although they are actually growing right now, my real nails stink...they constantly break and polish chips instantly.

doing my own. get a mani and pedi on a consistent basis so own nails it is.

You can get nail extensions which are beter then acrylic nails.
If your nails are long enough you can wrap them.
If you dont want length try a UV gel which will let the paint last longer.
I am doing a trial run with them all to see which will be best for me.
I would suggest that to everyone who hasnt had fake nails.

I have silk wraps on my nails all the time so they will be silk wraps for the day of also. I keep them short so they look really natural.

I had tips for years and don't want to go that route again. I'll get my own done though I have the same problem with them chipping. I'll probably get them done the day before and hope for the best. I can always touch it up that morning if I have to.

I'm going to get a manicure, but I'll use my natural nails. I've never had fake and don't plan to start on my wedding day.

I have natural nails, I used to have fake nails, but no more.
Are you able to get a mani late afternoon before your big day? maybe you bring your own color and touch it up the morning of..

Try the gel, you might like it. Also the extensions are less bulky than the acrylics are.

I currently have tips but mine are american gel instead of acrylic. They last a long time so I'm gonna keep on top of them and that's what i'll have

i feel the same way. i was a die hard acrylic tip gal for a while but i don't want to do that anymore. i will just do a neutral color and touch the day of

ohhh no more fake nails for me....I have the same problem, my nail polish chips as soon as I put my hands in water.....I think the best thing for you to do is either get a gel manicure or have that be the last thing you get done the night before the wedding....
you might be able to get a manicure the day before and the morning of just run in for them to paint them for you

im thinking of just getting my own nails gel manicured or something similar. i used to have the acrylic nails and the silk wrap and all that and it took me FOREVER after i took them off to get my nails healthy again. i keep them short usually bcuz i type so much but they look pretty the way they are (after manicures of course LOL) but i just dont want to go back to the hassle of the acrylic nails.
