Now, my gown is from David's Bridal. So far, my experiences there have been wonderful. I have obviously been putting off ordering it because I have quite a while until I get married, but I happened to fall in love with this dress, and there is definitely no other one for me. Ok, that said, when I do order it, I do not intend to have them do the alterations because I've heard horror stories about them. Now, if I order it, then have to store it myself, where can I do that? I'm worried about it discoloring by the time my wedding comes. We want to order it in January to avoid it being discontinued, so that gives me still way too much time to already have a dress, but big whoop, I love it so I don't care what anyone says Just need to know where to keep it.

I got mine from David's a few months ago. I have it home and it is in one of those plastic covers , with a light sheet covering it, still looks great..

You have alot of time to store it my best bet is to have it profrssional preserved. My cousin did not do tha and when it was time to fit it for alterations she had to buy a new dress cause it became yellow from time.

I got my dress more than 1 yr before my wedding. Store it in a white sheet, inside a garment bag and leave the bag open slightly for air.
Mine stayed perfect.
