FMIL really wants to buy us one of these sets of toasting flutes for our wedding. Although they are not what I had in mind, all of JT's family is from Ireland, and I thought it would be nice to honor his heritage in some way, which do you girls think? 1 or 2?
They are very unique! Call me ignorant, but how are these Irish? Just out of curiosity

Re: Ok, real quick....
Neither are really my style...but for some reason, I like the second one more.
They're Irish b/c of the Claddah in the first one...and (I believe) the second one has celtic knots.
edited for spelling.

The first one is Irish because it has the claddagh rings on it! beautiful! I am Irish and I LOVE them..I think they are very nice!

I think that the first ones look more elegant..because they are more long and sleek. Another option to go Irish is what we are doing, going with waterford toasting flutes. They are crystal and beautiful.

I think I like the second one better because I like the shape better. But I really like the claddagh design. What is it about them that you don't like? Is it because they are silver? Maybe you could find another set that are similar but more of a style that you like. I've seen some really pretty glass ones with the claddagh design on them.

I like the second one better. I think its great to incorporate one's culture/heritage to weddings. It adds a special touch.
