Oh my gf and I were just discussing htis the other night. It just happens I guess, but it drives me craz. Paul lived on his own for a hundred years and now all of a sudden since we live together I have inherited many jobs.

Although I am very lazy he does do alo for me

no, I just do everything else so the garbage was just given to him. I get the oil changes done sometimes. Its whoever thinks of it first. I got the car washed yesterday. I just prefer to do the cleaning and laundry myself cuz i like it done a certain way. So he was just given dishes (cuz i HATE doing dishes) and garbage so he'll feel useful. hehe

Yes, taking out the garbage, connecting all electrical appliances (ie, tv vcr, DVD cd players) changing light fixtures..

My requirements are garbage and toilets. He also does all the electronics stuff and any work around the house. He's very handy!!

Edited to say: He does the Car Washes - I think he's obsessed, but I do all the car service stuff - Oil Changes, etc.

In our household there are no boy jobs, but there are some that he knows how to do and I don't or he has more strength than me, such as electrical wiring, using the saw to cut wood, the chainsaw, jackhammer...those kinds of things. He did try to get me to play with the bobcat, but I declined.

We both take the garbage out. I bring the cans back only b/c I get home first. I however, won't let him touch the laundry!!

We're both car wash freaks! We often take them to be cleaned together.

We split most of the chores, although I do most of the cooking and he does most of the handywork. In the spring/summer we both work outdoors-he takes care of the lawn, I do the gardening.

No boy/girl jobs. I'm the computer/electrical whiz, he's the chef. But we both do everything.

yes he does the garbage and any recycling (we have that in queens).

he also cooks-thats his boy job in my eyes

jennbaby, i'm in queens, too! Where are you? Our recycling has to go out Friday and FH never remembers. I'm like it's one day, what's so difficult to remember?

Oh yeah he does all the boy jobs. I have never taken out the garbagee in my house not even when he wasn't living there. Somethings I am just glad to have a man do.

I'm in Queens too. REcycling goes out Friday, but I have to nag FH to tie up the papers (another one of his jobs, only because he says I do it wrong hehe)
