OK, so has anyone picked a wedding song?

FH and I both love Kenny Rogers. Weird, huh? We like 'through the years' and 'lady'.

I like Lady the best.

What songs have you guys picked? Or, do you have a few in mind?

Oh, my daughter (6 at the time) picked out 'truly' by Lionel Richie! LOL And that was BEFORE we were engaged! Maybe she knew? ;)

we are using 'Looks like we made it' by shania twain because the song speaks about us so much we feel like it was written for us

Oh, I think I like that song! Is that the song that goes 'Still in love, ....the one I dream offfff, the only one I .... offff, you're still the one i want toniiiiiiiighttttt......Looks like we made it....baby' (singing off key. The '...' is the fillers for the words that I dont't know. I probably butchered that song)

We have no idea...fi wants some funky songs like 'Endless Love' and 'Truly' they're great, not funky, but they have no special meaning to us, I think he got them from one of those 'most popular wedding songs' lists.

My FI and I are looking for a DM song-I don't know that I've heard that song yet but you definately gave me an idea-he is a huge DM fan and I couldn't think of a song that would be appropriate-thanks so much!

Oh my god, you should listen to it, the first time I heard it, it made me cry, I knew it would be our wedding song and we weren't even engaged yet!

We are planning to do a DM song, too! We both LOVE him and we ran into each other at his concert and started dating again after we stopped talking for a few months...and 9 years later we're getting married!!
The only thing I'm worried about is that some of the lyrics might be a bit inappropriate for a wedding. Everyone keeps telling me to do what we want...no one really listens to the lyrics anyway.
What do you all think?

My fi's brother and his wife chose 'Thank You For Loving Me' by Bon Jovi and it was such a beautiful song. Plus, it sounds awesome in the video recap - definitely a good one!

Our song is 'Fields of Gold' by Sting, so that will be our wedding song.

We are playing 'Ribbon in the Sky' for the second dance, for the BM party. AWESOME song!!!!!
