You are likely being way critical of yourself. I don't take pictures often. Seriously - ever since i got sick and have gained wait I don't allow people to take pictures of me. And when someone does and they say 'OMG! IT IS SO GOOD!' I feel like crying. It makes me feel like - 'If that is a GOOD pic... I must look like HELL all the time!'

But you know what? You are a GORGEOUS girl. Despite any self doubts, despite any flaws you percieve - your light, your joy, your beauty emanates from you. I see it in your posts, I see it in the way you talk about your daughter and your FH. And when people look at you and look at your pics - they don't see the same things you think you see. They see that beauty that lights you up from the inside out.

I know your pics are gorgeous. Because YOU are gorgeous.

I hate pictures of myself. I hope I like mine, but when you have spent a whole lifetime criticizing yourself (like I have) nothing will make you happy!

Girl I think you are probably being crazy!!!! The non-pro pics were gorgeous...the pro can only be 10 times better. We can be the judges - show us some!

If you are truly unhappy though, maybe you could consider a day after shoot?

SHOW US! I am sure you look great! Like everyone has said, we are our own worst critics. At my dress fitting I looked in the mirror and felt like a cow, and then my very skinny toned future cousin (without me saying a word) said: you arms look so cut! When all I could see was rolly polie olie......

I am sure you look fantastic and you definitely need to show us! We could help you pick ones we think you look best in!

i am so sorry you feel this way. trust me, i see a lot of brides on here that are unhappy with the first few times they look at their pics and then end up loving them. its just because we have high expectations- figure we see the best pics that brides post and thats what we want for all of our pictures and when they dont match up, we become upset.
i am sure your pics are beautiful!! just give it a chance to grow on you...

When I first saw my engagment pics, I was totally disappointed, grossed out, etc. I put them away and I looked at them again the next day. After looking at them again, I realized they were awesome pictures. I was too busy zoning in on my flabby arms, hump nose to even appreciate how great the shots were overall. Maybe you are doing the same thing. Take some time away from the pics, then go back and look at them as a whole. You'll probably love them. And like the other girls said, you made such a beautiful bride in your non-pros, I'm sure these are just spectacular.
