Ok, so I had my RD last night and was a little disappointed...(vent)
I booked Papa Joe's a little over a month ago and gave them a tentative count of 18 (incl. out of town guests), last week when I went to do the menu I confirmed only 12 because the OOT guest wouldnt be here. I get to the restarant and not only cant they find my reservation (and I had to leave a $100 deposit) but when they did find it the owner tells me that I never changed the #, uh, yes I did and it was him I spoke to. He's told me 'Dont worry I'll take care of you, I wont charge you for the extra people'. That's taking care of me? Anyway, I will never go back nor use them again, the food was excellent and the waiters were good but his attitude ruined it for me.
BTW, only 9 showed. His sister and family didnt come (long story) and his parents claimed they were sick, but when we got to their house his sister was there and they were all having pizza. I know his sister hates me, but I cant believe they didnt show for him. Ugh... the wedding should be fun.
