This is the disclaimer they have at the bottom of their web page:

'Note: Due to the successive nature of the service, we would greatly appreciate each guest’s effort to be prompt and be respectful of our fifteen minute grace period. We also remind each guest that Lady Mendl’s reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for whatever reason. '

can you believe that!

I don't think that is so bad, they have set timing for their service and the place is not huge so I can see their reasoning.

but refuses the right to service anyone for any reason? seems a little pre-JFK era. LOL. That's like, if they didnt like my hair do they could refuse service.

Is this standard in the restaurant industry? It seems odd to me

Most really busy restaurants give you about 15 minute grace period on your reservation, then they can refuse to seat you.

I have seen this on a sign in some places. The places I have mainly seen them usually are bar/restaurant types though.

Me too. I also think it helps them CYA if there is a group that is drunk or rowdy before even coming inside.
