lol.... i know we are all supposed to be on diets, but here's the scoop on my b-day dinner....
OK... so I've come to realize that I've been blessed.... Since we are on such a budget, this was partly my b-day gift - more to come later (as he said... I told him he did more than enough)... I went to his house yesterday, and he said.... don't look don't smell just go into the other part of the house, and STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, he calls me to the table in about a half hour, and much to my surprise, I was in for a 7 course meal!
Mescaline Salad Fresh French Onion Soup Penne a la Vodka w/sundried tomatoes Mussels (they were huge!) w/wild long grain rice Angus steak w/a twice baked potato & fresh green beans sauteed in a oil & fresh garlic mixture (mmmmmmmm) Then we had eaten this a couple of times at a brazilian churascarria b4 it closed.... A peach scooped out as best he could, and he filled it with sorbet (normally you match the sorbet flavor to the fruit, but he couldn't find peach, so he used strawberry.... no matter - it was still devine!) Then he got me a cheesecake as dessert!!!!!
No way.... I didn't finish not near everything...... The only things I definitely finished were the salad & soup - my 2 favorite things....
Sometimes I wonder how I lucked out!!!!
