Ok so my DH's Niece.

Is having dreams of dead people I think.

Mikes sister has 4 kids. 1 of her twins comes to her crying about a month ago.She had woke up in the middle of the night. When my SIL asked her whats the matter she said 'I wish I got to know Grandpa in NJ better before he died' The family was never close with him. The kids probably havent seen him for a good 3 to 4 years before he passed away.

It happened again last night. She came out crying and said 'I wish I got to know Grandpa in NJ better before he died' My SIL is freaked out about this and so am I. I really think she is seeing him in her sleep.

Tat's defintiely posisble. I think children are highy susceptible to things like that. The kids I used to babysit used to talk about seeing their great aunt at night, and that she was in heaven and happy. I saw stuff about it on TV and they said the best thing to do is to listen to the kids and not let them know if you're shocked or whatever because you don't want them to feel as if they've done something wrong. I think that's a totally cool thing.

The recently moved down to Florida. I wonder if that prompted him to come to her?

That's possible. Did he live in florida, or do they have any special connection w/ florida? Or maybe he's there to help her with the transition. As long as the images she's seeing are positive, i'd consider it a good thing

The best thing for your BIL and SIL to do is to sit down and talk to her about her granpa.... Show her pictures, and ask why shes so upset that she didnt know him that well. Also explain that she can still 'speak' to him through prayers.

When I was little I had a lot of little things like that come up... That helped me... Good Luck
