ok so my sister .......................

my moh is getting married at the Riviera on July 9, 2009 it is a THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! has anyone ever gone to a thursday wedding??? I guess she got a pretty good price

I went to a Thursday wedding in February and although it was the coldest day of the year....I had an amazing time. It's a celebration of love, family and friends...it doesn't matter what day of the week it is!!!

I actually went to a Thursday Wedding at the Rivera. It was a great time. Many people didn't make the church becuase of work but other then that it was a great night!

Kellybean had a thursday wedding, I dont know if it was for the price though. she mentioned that thursdays were important to her-

At a lot of RH we went to they asked what our occupations were b/c many teachers have thursday weddings during the summer. I am a teacher and said no thanks but I know at least 4 people who have done this. It the new thing b/c its also so much cheaper!

congrats to her I have never been to a thursaday wedding but the day of the week doesn't matter I am getting married on a wed. July 2nd and I have 24 yes responses and 2 no responses from people from out of town mind you. People will come no matter what day of the week it may be

yup i was at the same wedding as anneandchris and she is right it was a great evening!!! i did make it to the church but due to a delay had to leave early but it is my best friend so i had to at least watch her walk down the aisle then i left to go get ready....those you car about will make it and if it is to reception that is what really matters as thats when u get to party your *** off with your friends

My dad went to a thursday night wedding over the summer...everyone went in my family, and I don't think it was an issue.

I have not but I know FMIL's boyfriend's daughter (Bueller ??) was married on a Thurs. night. I thought it was odd but the price was apparently amazing !!

I had a thursday wedding and loved it we got more time with the oot guests etc...Though it wasnt at all because it was cheaper...in the end it really wasnt .Bot of my sons were born on thursday I wanted to have the wedding on a thursday also.....

i went to a thursday wedding at foxhollow, and they were not the only wedding there that night, i had a great time but i had to leave work early and had a little too much fun....if you know what i mean and work on friday was horrible cuz i was hungover!!!!!!

only real downsides are work related cuz not everyone can take off thursday and friday for a wedding to really enjoy themselves

my best friend got married the thursday before memorial day & it was a great wedding- she was able to get everything at a much better price

i honestly dont think the day of the wedding is as important as it used to be
