Find out how extensive the damage is. Those ants can be just as bad as termites. My advice is to NEGOTIATE the price of the home and call an exterminator for thier opinion of how bad it is. Best of luck.

If you need the number to an exterminator... give these guys a call.
When I moved into my new place... I inherited a nice roach problem thanks to a nasty, dirty, older woman that was the previous owner. I gave these guys a call and had them come in once a month for treatment. It took about 3-4 months to really start seeing results. But I tell you my apartment has been great since. I haven't seen a single insect anywhere in the past two months and frankly I don't plan on seeing anymore.
What a difference. Plus these guys fees are some of the cheapest I have seen. I don't know how good they are on ants or termites, but they take care of all vermin problems.
Now if I can only get my neighbors to do the same.
