ok - so we won't use labels - but now I need your help...

What is the best way to print onto a square envelope - anyone a computer wiz with centering, all that stuff? I am computer illiterate - we will be printing out like 150+ envelopes!!!!

Someone please help - how do I do this???

Yes!!!

It isn't so difficult really. Where are your addresses? Are they in Excel or something and are you doing a mail merge into word?

You need to set up word for the correct page size and the page size is the size of the envelope.

File > Page Setup; when the page setup window opens, click on the PAPER tab. You will click the Paper size drop down and select CUSTOM and then indicate the width and height of the envelope in the spots provided there.

The margins are not so important because you are just centering the address in the body - you can do print preview to see if you are where you want to be.. test one or two when you think you are close.

You can do this - I did the outer and inner envelopes ... that's A LOT!!

would it be possible - and I'll understand if it's too much work - to write out a step-by-step of what to do? Remember I'm dim with this stuff - that way I have some sort of guidleines to follow?

You can use the 'help' section in MS Word. Search for envelopes.

Keep in mind that this is Not the merge part.... setting up for a merge is not difficult, but if I saved the doc this way it would give you errors when you open it as it would be looking for the data (addresses). We (I) don't know where your address list is and what shape it's in, etc. It needs to be very uniform to use a merge and preferably in Excel.

My addresses are all over the place - I'm going to have to type them all in...

I did all of mine - quite honestly after I figured out the centering on the envelope - I got them done fast.
