nothing too conservative, nothing too revealing
hey, here's an idea
have some friends call your cell during the date and make like you're making plans for the coming days
kinda show him you're 'in demand'

I would go with capris and a nice top - Also, I don't know about the having your friends call during your date - I used to HATE that when I was single and on a date with someone and there phone was ringing and he would be talking on it, so annoying!

I find that so rude. I even tell my husband if he is busy or with someone don't even both answering the phone because it is so rude. That is why we have voicemail and caller ID! If you really want to get his attention pick it up without looking at the number and turn it off and apologize, don't answer it!
Why do you want her to lie or play games. She can just tell him she is busy. Is she a trophy who the hell cares if she is in demand, most of the guys I know would just blow that off and think that the girl doesn't have time for him.
Just treat him the way you would want to be treated and play everything as it comes, not by playing games.
I would wear a sundress or capri's

Re: ok so what do i wear?..
This is hard since you don't know what he's got planned. Just in case it's an 'activities' date, like mini golf, bowling, or Jillian's, it's probably best not to wear a skirt. But just in case you want to, I'm including a picture of a cute outfit. All these are from Ann Taylor Loft--it's sad how much $$ I spend there. A good idea is to bring a jacket because you never know how air conditioned it's going to be. I actually bought the jean jacket in one of these pics and it's very versatile. It would also be very cute over the skirt (I have that too!). I think the red halter gives a nice punch of color. If you want something less revealing, they also have a high neck version (also in my closet) and it's on sale for $20. Hope this helps! Have fun!
Okay, my last plug for Ann Taylor Loft (I swear, I don't work there)--their special right now is that for every $50 you spend, you get a $25 gift card to use after 9/7.

Maybe not such a hot idea - taking a phone call during a date in my opinion is rude (unless you use your cell phone for your job, but even then I would be hesitant to answer).
I feel, if you want to be with the other person you won't interrupt the date by answering phone calls.
