UPDATE 2** ITS ON TOMORROW 11/4 im nervous!! i hope its not too cheesy!!!!!!

heres the story..

my mother got a general email from the rachel ray show about shows that they were looking to cast. one of them happened to be a mother daughter look alike duo.

well my mother and i have looked alike forever. my dad mistakes me for my mom and my FH mistakes my mom for me.. all the time! its an on going joke with us. when we are out in stores people always do double takes on us and ask us if we're sisters and sometimes people even ask us if we are twins!! NO JOKE! (shes 24 years older!!)

so i wrote in, got a response requesting pictures of us. within 10 minutes of sending the e-mail i got a phone call! they wanted us but they just had to get approval from the higher ups. ahh!!

soo i got the call a few days later that they selected us out of 300 entires from all over the country!!!

so heres the premise of the show...
a mother/daughter couple that look so much alike and really want to look different and have their own identity
AND
a mother/daughter couple that look absolutely nothing alike and wish they looked more alike. (they were fron L.A.-- very interesting people to say the least)

so.. they took us shopping at Macys Herald Square and brought us to Cutlers Salon in the city! i stayed over night in the city and the mothers and daughters werent allowed to see each other until the next day for the reveal on stage for the filming of the show!
(this was all a few weeks ago) and they did a pretty good job making us look different!

well i finally got notice yesterday that the show will be airing on October 23rd!!! soo if you want to see the before and afters.. watch it!!

soo there you go... my 15 minutes of fame.

it was fun but i not im in a serious GROW MARATHON for the wedding

it wasnt realllly dramatic.. they really played it up for the show.. but they cut my hair SHORT. like to my chin and dyed it red. (mmm maybe more auburn) and bangs too. i dyed it back to dark brown the other day bc the color was fading. and bc it was hard for me to get used to. this was the first time i EVER put anything in my hair.. i was a virgin.

thanks everyone! i actually HATED my hair when they first did it.. i actually cried but not that its back to my sort of natural color i like it sooo much more! im excited to see the show and how they edited all the film they took!
