Ok I know this might sound stupid at this point but can someone tell me how the heck I make my Caketopper. I want to make a Letter J with crystals in it. I have seen other people do this amazing thing but I need a little push. Should I go to Michaels or AC MOORE. HELPPPPPPPPPP

have you looked on the DIY boards??
if i had to guess.. i think you buy a cut out of your letter(thin piece or wood, paint it whatever color you like and add crystals to it to make it sparkle...
glue, crystals, paint can be bought at ac moore or michaels.. i know they sell letters but i'm not sure of the thickness of the wood..

I cannot remember the site I bought my letter from, But this site is often used on the boards. http://www.weddingcuts.com/
I bought crystals from AC moore and Glued them on. All different sizes!

Here is the thread where I posted mine and on the 2nd page, there are directions and where I got everything.
I bought my letters from ebay, and swarovski crystals from www.artbeads.com...then we tried a few layous' and when it was ok we just glued them down...took forever and was super tedious, but worth it.
