ok spinoff on RSVP date...

how far in advance of the RSVP date did you send your invites out? Like how much time did you give your guests to RSVP?

we sent ours out on 5/17 & 5/31 with a 7/5 RSVP date

I sent mine out a month before. And then we sent out a second round two weeks before. I would suggest not sending them earlier than four weeks before. People think they have all this time to respond, and then they forget. That's what happened to us. The people we sent the invitations to two weeks before got back to us before most of the other people!

I plan on sending mine out in early July and have an rsvp date of Aug 23rd. But I would think giving them a month is plenty of time and fair.

im going to send mine first week of august and ask for rsvps by 9/23 - so about a 6-7 week turnaround time

invites went out March 21 and the RSVP was May 6
so i guess about 6 weeks to RSVP

5 weeks from when they get mailed to when they are due. Gives me plenty of time before the wedding to hunt down the ones who haven't responded.
