Do your districts build in snow days or do you lose the day after Memorial Day or another one immediately.

My district does not build in snow days because we rarely close so we lose the day after Memorial day, then the Friday before and then they start deducting from our April break.

swags...that sucks...my old district built in two snow days...if we took 1 or none...we would get a 5 day mem weekend...if 2 taken 4 day mem weekend...so on...

and NYC of course never had a snow day (while I was there....) but I don't mind those days...you usually don't have many students - its laid back...and I would much rather have a sunny day off than a snowy day....

I am a city teacher and they never close the schools. Long Island teachers think of me when you are home tomorrow!
