I'm a chorus teacher, and I was thinking of asking my students to sing at our ceremony. Is that crazy of me? i just thought it would be so cute, and they are great singers. Am I being ridiculous?
ETA: And by pills, I mean that I'm sick right now!

How old are they? Can you trust them? If they are mature enough, I think it would be sweet but... are you too much of a control freak to let someone else conduct them?

I think that is a great idea. I'm actually going to do the same thing. My FH and I grew up in the same church...the choir stinks. I'm asking one of the H.S music teachers to have one of the small ensembles sing at the wedding.

WEll, I would use a small ensemble. I have 1-8th graders and would use the older kids. And luckily, I am not a control freak Some of them keep asking me if they can do this, and I hadn't really given it any thought until today.

I've seen it before - it's very sweet.
However, make sure SOMEONE ELSE conducts them - you've got enough to do.

Oh god, I wouldn't even begin to think about conducting them. I have enough friends in the business who can do this for me!

so cute. You know their talents best so if you want them to do it and they want to do it - go for it!!! If I were at that wedding - I would love it.
