but, what kind of favors are you thinking of doing? I was at first going to keep it simple Frame and put the place card in it or votive candles holders with votive and have the matches as the place cards or make cd favors. I love that idea but, I don't want to go over $150...any ideas ladies. I know I am going to have to buy the program, ink, cds and covers. I am going to do one per family/couple and not wrap them, I feel it goes in the garbage and I need to save $$$$$$ big time. If anyone can give me sites with cheap a$$ prices I will love you forever!! Thanks

If you want to do the votive candles, orientaltrading.com has a votive and votive holder set and you get 12 sets for 12.95, which is barely over a dollar per favor. You'd have to make your own labels to personalize them, but if you use clear labels it works out fine.

If you want to be assured the favors don't go to waste, give edible ones.
We filled candy tins from FavorOnline. net with mints from Metro Candy, then designed a label with a graphic, our names, and the date with labels from Office Depot.

How many people will you need favors for? You can do those little bottle stoppers or bottle openers. Its something people can keep i their kitchen drawer and will use. You can get them for like $1.50 each. Then, you only need 1 per couple.
The frames are cute too, I always make use of them.

You could make a donation to your favorite charity or to honor someone that is fighting or lost a fight to a disease. Some charities give you individual scrolls, while with others you can just send a check and then put a poem/note in a picture frame at each table telling your guests in lieu of a favor a donation was made.

I am not sure how many people you are having, but we had 140 and we did Hershey bars, which cost a little more than $200.

I don't think we are doing favors, but I am considering donating to a charity in lieu of favors...I've seen some of the girls here donate to charity and then make cute certificates for their guests letting them know where they donated!
