I think Jessica Simpson has a line and I haven't even priced it out so it could be totally out of the budget, but I was thinking of getting those 'snap in' extensions to make my 'Day Of' hair fuller. Has anyone ever gotten them or thinking of using them?

Re: Ok throwing it out there...Hair extensions?
I haven't looked into it but I might. I have thin hair (thank you genetics ) and I want my hair to look thicker for my wedding. Not sure about costs though.

I know some of the 08 girls are using them, maybe you can post over there. I think that you can actually buy them from some of the hair vendors that do your day of hair!

I've already budgeted hair extensions into my wedding hair. This bald chick is going to need all the help she can get!!!
I know to get extensions at the salon is like $250.

i think extensions are really great for achieving a fuller or longer look.... and they turn out looking soooo natural and beautiful!

I have thick long hair but I was thinking about getting them to add to the length if my hair isn't as long as I want it in time for the wedding.

ive actually used the snap in ones myself. theyre alright. they get annoying after awhile because the clip grabs your hair so tight near your scalp. they hold up great (the human hair ones) to curling irons, flat irons etc. so i would think youd be fine using them the day of. just make sure the clip matches the color of your hair so theyre not real visible.

Re: Ok throwing it out there...Hair extensions?
I wore the Jessica Simpson ones to a Christmas party and got many compliments... not to mention that fact that I loved the feel of really full/long hair- My hair stylist said that we are going to do a trial with them! I can't wait- I recommend them if you aren't going to go with the real ones- I think you can get them on ebay for 40-60 bucks.
I had the clip in extensions for my hair, and I LOVED them. I paid a lot for them (got them from Makeovers in Staten Island), but they were well worth it. If you have thin-ish hair, and/or you plan on curling it on your big day, I would highly recommend that you look into the extensions.
If you have any questions feel free to fm me!

some hair vendors won't charge you extra for extensions...i am having the clip on extensions in my hair and its at no extra charge. If you look at my trial she used it for that too. So first book your hair vendor and see what their policy is before you decide. The clip on extensions she is using are also real hair and on top of that about 2 weeks before the wedding she will take a sample of my hair to match it perfectly
I am using claudia pedala.
Also i know jenn the hair genie does charge but i think its about $80 so definitely ALOT better than getting it at a salon. If you get it bonded in with real hair it will cost about $800 and up and most around $1200...if you get it sewn in with tracks of hair then that can be about a few hundred dollars

Re: Ok throwing it out there...Hair extensions?
My MOH had them for her wedding this past December and they looked fantastic and lasted the whole entire night with zero problems.
I don't know what brand they were, but I know she bought them from one of the booths in the Smithaven Mall.

If I can get them for $30-$80 that's not terrible at all and if whoever I book for hair does it for free that would be even better!! I don't really have thin hair, but the hair style I'm liking right now I don't think I can acheive without a little extra hair.
