ok what makes them say i have no say!!!

ok i am fuming at the moment!!! WHO the hell tells the bride they have no say. I was just told by my bridesmaid that i have no say in my bachlorette party it is whatever it is and im just the guest!! Im so annoyed! she flat out told me this. so i was just joking around saying i think i know whne the shower is i mean come on there are only so many weekends left before the big day. she told me that i need to but out and stop trying to figure it out. so i told her for so long i have been keeping my mouth shut and she when her day comes she will see what is like. IT frustrating not to have a say in what i want to do. i feel like she isnt even listening to me. Its turning more and more into her day. im so close to not attending. thanks for letting me vent

that's really odd. After all, they should be sly and trying to figure out what you would like.... you're 'just' a guest... but you're also the guest of honor!!!

As much as I LOVE surprises, I think it would bother me too if I had NO say at all in the bach. Party. My MOH and BM's are planning all my parties, BUT they have asked for ideas from me.....things I would like to do, things I wouldn't want to do......that kind of stuff.......

I have a similar situation with my MOH (my sister) she is trying to tell what pictures she wants taken and how many parent albums am I getting since FH's parents are divorce and my parents have passed away, she has decided that she wants her own album.

Actually, I have been told the same thing about my shower from my own MOTHER! You have to remember that the shower is for you and people who love you enjoy planning it for you. It should be a surprise. Yeah, you may have wanted to wear something different, or done your hair but for the people who worked so hard to put it together- seeing the expression on your surprised face is priceless to them.

Now about the batchelorette party- I totally disagree. I think you should def have a say in that. I planned the date and the type of outing with my SIL. I don't want strippers or anything crazy. Tell your girl that payback is a biatch!
