Ok. What RSVP date should I use

My Wedding date is September 24th 2006. When do the guests need to reply by?

Yeah I agree with one month before.

My RSVP date is August 1st for my Sept. 2nd wedding.

One month - August 24.

We did this for ours - all RSVP's have to be in Sept 16, which is good b/c that is also the time that the hotel booking is dropped for our guests, so they need to make their reservations before then.

I say 6 weeks just because you have people who don't RSVP or RSVP late and I think most halls want a head count 1 month b4....But I would check what date your hall wants a final head count and then go from there...

My wedding was November 13, Invites went out Sept 8th, my RSVP date was October 23rd. Was pleanty enough time. I didn't need to have my final headcount to the hall until 5 days before the wedding.

What if you have a 'b' list. Should I still sent them out a month before. When does the 'b' list go out? I don't want it to seem like a 'b' list when they go out..

Anywhere from 4-6 weeks before. I did 4 weeks for mine,

My date is October 8. My hotel block closes Sept 8. Lots of girls here said some people think the RSVP date, is the date they need to drop it in the mail, so I made my RSVP date Aug 25. Gives the stragglers enough time to still get the hotel after I call their azz and ask where the RSVP is!!

I'm going to say Sept. 1, that's what I did.

IMO, that's plenty of time (3.5 weeks).

i assume you mean aug. 16 or else they'll be rsvping on your wedding day!
