Mine's up too. I amy take the ornaments of today if I have the energy. Otherwise, Saturday.

Me. We will take it down this weekend. I am sad; I love Christmas trees. Another downside is that as I get older I can't enjoy it as much (with all my last minute running around).

Ok forgive my ignorance here. But most of the roman catholics I grew up with took their tree down on the day of the epiphany - is this the little christmas all of you are referring to?
Yup that is it. The day the three wise men came.
It seems a lot of us wait until Jan 6th to take down the tree.
In DH's family, they always waited for his birthday (Jan 10) so I think I will do that for him.

We are not catholic but we do the same thing. We do not take it down until after the 6th of January.

we're going to this within the next few days. it's just soooooo pretty and still smells sooo good!! I am dreading all the needles that are going to come off--we are on the 2nd floor i wish we could just throw it out the window onto our landlord's front lawn! hahaha
