i must be a wuss, b/c it scared the CRAP outta me! omg, i couldn't sleep well for days afterwards and i put a Bible (that had been collecting dust on my bookshelf) on my nightstand.
but i thought it was an excellent movie- not overdone with the special graphics, very good acting and a really interesting plot.

The movie is very loosely based on a true story. The girl was really Annelise Michel, (born 1952) from a tiny Bavarian town, and she did go away to college, where the 'possession' began. She came home and eventually had the exorcism, and died. The thing I found interesting was that in the movie, only the preist was charged with negligence. In real life, the parents were charged (and found guilty) too. The movie also took place in Minnesota, not her home.

I saw it and it didnt scare me at all! But Ive seen several of these types of movies before.
I thought the movie was interesting though. It must have been a hard role to play!

It wasnt supposed to.. its supposed to just give you a few jumps. That it did.
Its a suspense..
Is he guilty or not.. based on the facts. Shocking facts but facts.
Most of the previews dont show it's a courtroom drama not a supernatural horror flick
