I know it's Friday the 13th..but how funny is that! FH wanted to go see one that day...imagine???

LOL! Can I just tell you that hearing the sound from that movie scares me. I saw the last one that came out and cried during the scene where her friend told her to kill him. Am I the only fool?

Your getting married friday the 13th? That's pretty bold! I would totally be scared and think I would be jinxed. But then again, i'm the oldest broad on these boards- i still believe putting your sneakers on the bed and your pocketbook on the floor is bad luck too!

my FH would say the same thing..'well the wedding is at 5 there is no reason we cant catch a movie at like 3 right?' A$$!!!

I don't do either of those, but that's because it's too germ-y. Some TV show I was watching said women's pocketbooks are one of the germiest things in their houses because they put them down on bathroom floors when they're using the restrooms at public places. Eeew. That's WAY scarier than getting married on Friday the 13th.
Oh, btw, I'm a Spanish teacher and can tell you that in most Hispanic countries, it's Tuesday the 13th that's bad luck. They have a saying: 'Martes y trece, ni te cases ni te embarques' - Tuesday the 13th, don't get married or set out on a journey. I guess they figure no sense on wasting bad luck on a Friday - Fridays are too much fun!

(I totally understood it in Spanish...because I am lol). See....Friday the 13th is GREAT! I imagine some people having 'scary themed weddings' on this day..must be just as interesting as Halloween weddings (my favorite time of year)
