I right there with you. My Dad is the biggest pain and constantly asking how much each vendor will cost. When I tell him I get 'What are you nuts!!' Now when he asks I tell him none of his business unless he is contributing. He is not contributing any $$$$ and has not offered one penny toward my wedding.

I have been having the same problem. When I try to avoid the question (they should take the hint), they just keep asking. There really is no need for them to know. With us it's different bc we are not asking each other to be nosey. Now I just answer--over $100 and under $1000 and then I smile :) Those prices are for the RH.

ITA- its completely rude and unneccessary. I always dont mind telling those one or two people that still have some ounce of tact left and say first, 'If you dont mind me asking...you dont have to answer...'. But when people come out and just ask? Not cool. Who cares? You're not paying for it!
