ok....a video.....what to do?!?!? Help- (recommend)

I NEVER wanted a video until last night.....I went to my friends house - she was married 6/27 in the Bahamas I was a b/m.

Well, after seeing all the moments we missed I KNEW I wanted one.

SO- who do you recommend and whats the price range??? Sorry to be so nosy, just want to know my options.

If you don't want to post prices here PLEASE fm me.

We're using Glenmar Studios. They're giving us a good deal though, because we're using them for photography as well.

We are using Patken for photo and video.

For all videographers I think the range can be anywhere from 1,000 for a basic video to 2,500 for something more elaborate.

I am using Leli Photography... i saw his video and LOVED it
he is pretty reasonable... i think somewhere between $2000-2800

We are using ADA ( vendor on here if you need #) ...their package is about $1700 for 3 DVD's and $1400 for 3 videos

WILD ROSE VIDEO!!!! I love their work. I love Marie & Bill. They are so nice and very helpful and Bill is awesome with the camera. I've seen their work and its Fabulous!

I'm trying to decide between 2 places, both of which are really good. The price range is around $3000-5000 depending on how crazy you want to get. Video Magic Studios and Motion Picture Studios . Good luck!

we are not having a videographer

HOWEVER...

the plan is to setup a camcorder on a tripod for the ceremony, and a friend of ours who owns professional equipment may bring it along. i have yet to figure out if i am going to ask him to do this and what i would pay him, but it's something i am considering...

i want the raw footage, i'll figure out what to do with it after the fact!

We used Artisan for our video - $1600 for raw footage and 3 DVD's. They were great to work with - sent an extra videographer for the ceremony at no charge, which really made a difference in the video, and our video was realy really really quickly

I am using Wild Rose. They have a bunchof different packages to choose from so you can find something in your price range. Marie is sooo nice.

The owner Billy is GREAT, he listened to what we wanted.... We booked ROY (who works just as well) because BILLY was already booked.

His Packages start at I believe $1,000. give or take.

May I suggest that before you BOOK anyone CHECK out their work to make sure you like the style in which they shoot.

We used Bellarino. We haven't received the video yet, but we checked out a lot of video companies, and his were by far the best. We didn't even know the people in the videos, yet we felt like crying we were so emotional. Don't know why that was, but we know it meant he did a great job. His prices are reasonable too.

Have to agree on Blue Sky Video! Bill shot our video and we never knew he was there..
The results??? An unbelievable video - my husband and I were blown away by the fabulous job he did.
