Re: Okay back from first weigh in and

Im just hoping to lose atleast 2-3lbs a week so that I can be where I want to be for FH bestfriends wedding in Dec. and to be thinner in June when I go to Vegas as well as my brothers wedding where there will be tons of old friends that I havent seen in years. I would be embarassed to walk in at this weight even though I shouldnt be. Thank You guys for convincing me to try WW and being so supportive.

Congratulations! That is a great start! I wanted to let you know, however, that aiming to lose 2-3 pounds per week may be a bit unrealistic. After the first few weeks, most people are happy to lose 1 pound a week. I think WW says that it is generally healthy to lose no more than 1 to 1.5 pounds per week.

I am not trying to bring you down, just want you to have realistic expectations so you don't get frustrated and give up.
