I FMed Kim about The Wedding of the Year (TWOTY) and found out its gonna be on 1/19/08, but still no word of where it will be held!!! I really hope its not like deep in Suffolk

cool. Last year and the year before it was at CLM, I think the year before that the reception was at the Huntington Hilton.

Last year I believe all registered on LIW was able to attend, with 2 rsvps per person, but it was $25 per person.

They do sell out of tickets, so get them early girls!!!

Its a blast, I went last year, won dance lessons. The brides that attend get name tabs to put in for prizes which last year were announced at the VH, they listed the number and the brides screen name to pick up your prize. The grooms who attended were given tickets that would be drawn to win a plasma tv.

The WOTY was held last year at the Chateau La Mer. The cost of the event was $25.00 and you have to reserve your seat. It will be posted on the board and you have to respond by a certain date. Alot of vendors come out to showcase their talents. The food was excellent at the CLM; they served the same menu as if it was a real wedding. You receive gift bags that are on your seat when you arrive. They have a cocktail hour and then reception dinner.

I had fun!!

Oooh this sounds like fun! I hope I can get tickets...it might actually get me in the mood to start booking things instead of having everything in my head! LOL

They sent out an email about 2 weeks ago with the date.

we went to this year and i so cant wait until next years. We had so much fun and won a great prize.

I want to go too! I doubt FH would be too enthuased about this one though... it is for brides and grooms? Do you have to bring your groom to be?

you dont have to bring him, but im sure other fh's will be there!
