i really like that idea....i think the roses (an elegant flower) will complement the black dresses (an elegant, classic color). But then you have splashes of different colors in there too to liven things up. good thinking!

I think that's a great idea! Black gives you so many options - it's hard to go wrong! (My BMs are wearing black too.) One suggestion I have is to maybe use all red, yellow, pink, and peach for the girls (not white). This way only you, the bride, will have white. (And maybe the MOH can have a smaller version of yours minus the white.) Just a suggestion! I think it will be great either way!

I think with black as your backdrop, you really can't go wrong with any combination you choose. I love your idea - that was something I had tossed around...having each BM carry a different flower/color...but wound up doing something different. (My BM's are wearing black also.)

Actually, when I looked on Nadine's webpage, there is a link to a beautiful bride who did this, so it really wasn't my idea.
She had only three girls, so I am concerned that it might be too much with 4 girls (BMS). But then I thought the MOH can have a smaller bouquet of mine.
For the c-piece I am doing a candle thing, so I was thinking I would sprinkle rose petals on each table too.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that.
What if you had each girl in the same color - but each carry a different flower? Or, stick with your original idea - but tweak it a little? Do something in the monochromatic family - have one carry red, one pink, one orange, one peach? So it looks more tonal than prom? Maybe? Sorry - it's late...

We are meeting with Laurie from La Blossom tomorrow night, so I am going to see what she thinks. I am really excited to meet with her.
FI bought me white roses a couple of weeks ago and tonight he brought home peach roses for me. Maybe that is why I am on rose kick.
