Okay, just found a mouse in my apartment!!!

I walked into our bathroom and my cat was trying to get something in the corner( highly unusual for my cat). I go to see what it is and there is this tiny little mouse staring up at me. I moved the cat , got a plastic container, cut holes in the top and got the mouse into it. I just walked over by the river where there are lots of trees and grass and let it go. I hope he has a long happy life OUTSIDE.

Oh boy, been there done that. But, you are MUCH nicer than me. I'm deathy afraid of rodents in my house so I just screamed, jumped on my couch and called FH to come get me (this was when I lived in the city, before he became FH). I have zero problem with rats in the subway or field mice in a field but there's no room for them in my home!!!

It was nice of you to bring the mouse outside! They're so cute, but I just don't want them anywhere near my kitchen. I'm so squeamish about rodents getting in my food, my stove, etc.

my father owned a deli when we were growing up and he had this older german woman who worked there - she was so sweet, but apparently afraid of mice. one day she saw one...and her scream was so loud and shrill that the mouse stopped, and dropped dead ont he spot -she scared it to death!
