Okay ladies..................

Your help is needed once again. My FI decided to surprise me today and tell me we are spending the whole weekend in the city. Yay! I am very excited because it is my birthday weekend. It's also kellybride Bday and i will see her out there tomorrow night.
Anyway i really need your help. I am looking for restaurants near the theatre district/timesquare area (Italian,American,Spanish, anything) not too pricey and has good quality and quantity food.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys!

Please note if i MUST have a reservation.

Carmine's on 44th (I think) has good Italian - you need a reservation

Virgil's has great BBQ - reservation needed but you can go there and get on the wait list too

Our favorite place, the Bombay Palace but I don't know if you like Indian food. Here's the info, you might want to make a reservation. I know they usually have theater specials.

Bombay Palace

10019 30 W. 52nd Street
(5th-6th Aves.)

There's also a good Chinese place that me and my girlfriends love, not sure of the address though. It's called Ollies.

Edited to add: Happy Birthday!

There's a really cute french restaurant on restaurant row they have good pre-theatre specials (app, entree, dessert) around $30 it's called La Rivage. Not sure if you need reservations, but it wouldn't hurt.

Re: Okay ladies..................

If you go away from the Times Square area, I think you'll find a lot more restaurants that are reasonably price with good quantities of food. Most restaurants in Times Square are geared to tourists, so they tend to charge more. Just my observation.

I recommend using the best of city search to find the top rated restaurants in a ton of categories.

If your interested in Cuban food, my old boss took us all out to Victor's Cafe a few years ago when I worked in that area. I believe it's on 52nd between 7th and 8th. I don't think it was cheap, but I don't think it was outrageous either.

Happy Birthday and have fun this weekend :)
