So my husband is turning 30 in december, I would love love love to have a surprise 30th for him, I was thinking of having it at a firehouse or a k of c, so if any of you ladies know of any firehouse or k of c that I could rent for about 100 people on a Saturday night in the winter in the nassau area ( we live in Island Park) I would totally appreciate it! There's a great one on Franklin Avenue in Malverne. I'm totally blanking on the name but it has a big kitchen, a little stage and lots of room. When I speak to my sister in law, I will ask her the name for you.

North Bellmore Fire Department has a room. My FSIL is very involved in that fire department. I believe it costs around $300-400 to rent. FM me if you need more details.

Oh look into the Elks Club in Lynbrook and the Firehouse in Wantagh. Both are absolutely LOVELY inside!

Are you thinking of the American Legion? There is also an awesome VFW in Valley Stream. The downstairs room has a bar with stools and little tables. We had my FMIL 50th b-day there.

I know theres a K of C in Seaford...my dad bartends there sometimes - he said it's very nice. i believe they have a website...google it!! :)
