I'M NOT GLUING YOU TO THE DAMN SEAT!!! YOU'RE ASKED TO SIT THERE DURING DINNER... YOU WANNA MOVE DURING THE REST OF THE RECEPTION- GO AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL... THE DOOR IS ----> THAT WAY.. GO SIT OUTSIDE IF YOU WANT!


okay, just prepping myself for when my mother and I go at it again over the seating chart...
I had seven tables of 12... she somehow has like 27 tables of 5, or 7... (yes, I'm exaggerating, but you get my drift)
I went from having HER table full.. to her having... ready... SIX people at it!

IMO, the seating charts are the most difficult part of the wedding!!!

I didn't have ANY problem doing it.. it took me FIVE minutes.

FMIL had to change a little on her side because there is family coming from Italy and I didn't know where to put them, but it was no big deal.

MY MOTHER however.. is the pain.
she doesn't want her sister at her table because she wants my brother to pay attention to her and not our aunt (who lives with my brother)
she wants her cousin to sit with family friends rather then his mother.. because he was in our friends bridal party 35 years ago
BUT those friends are friends with other friends.. who are friends with other friends.. who is who we're having a hard time seating.

she also has my brothers neighbor (close friend) at a table with HER friends, who he doesn't know.. when i want him with my brother too.. like i had everything FINE and EVEN (well full, not even)... but she has to mess it up.

I told her i just don't G.A.S anymore!

don't worry, it'll be over soon enough and you can concentrate on the other stuff

i had someone who 'had' to sit with her friends ... but we couldn't fit them both in the same table so we just put them in adjacent tables and let them deal with it. the in-laws made a HUGE to-do about this ... it's really ridiculous how insane people get.

lets make a vow to control ourselves and not be momzillas when it's time for our kids' weddings

My drama was the reverse. FH and I did all the tables. My parents had to move a few people, NBD.

FMIL decided to sit at a table of 8 and force her guests to sit 14 ppl at tables that only comfortably seat 12.

after lots of arguements we decided to let her guests sit uncomfortably.
