I will start

Since I am starting this, I have no one before me to say something nice about . . . but I love LIW- everyone is so nice and helpful here!!!

I am in my third year teaching and it is my tenure year. I am tired and stressed but I love my job!

Right now I can't wait until the lag time is over- I need to be like 3 months away from the wedding because right now I have been engaged for far too long and just want my wedding day to be here already!!! I am at the point where EVERYONE is making me crazy about the WEDDING!!!!!!

ang is such a sweet person, who is always helping everyone.

i am at the point in my wedding planning where everyone in my family is driving me crazy with telling me my ideas are stupid. i just want to scream.

I met Ang at STRIKE GTG - she is every bit wonderful as the many great things said about her. We only talked briefly - but one's heart knows when a person is true, & this reflects Ang.

Side point - I enjoy talking to ALL my 05 ladies. Yes some i have formed friendships with & some (dont want to say names as it would defeat the purpose of the thread) and i look forward to meeting others. i think personality comes through our posts.

I am a warm, loving, helpful and try to bring humor into things. I feel life is WAY far TOO short (9/11 taught us that) to be miserable, so i made up my mind to ENJOY life as i never want to look back & say ' I should've....'
Yes I am going though a few things at this time - work realted, which affects my total joy for the wedding, but talking with you ladies helps.

LadyPrincess was my first friend on LIW. We exchanged numbers and she called to break the ice. We talked for hours and always chit chat when we need a pick me up! I love her to death and only wish her the best of luck with everything she is going through right now. Things happen for a reason....patience and it will all work out hunny!

happybride2005 and I had lunch before she even set a date. We spoke wedding and she showed me her scrapbooking!! So talented and super sweet!!! Glad to have a friend like you!

Thanks! I try to not let some other's BS affect me. There are more important things in this world then to let something that you might have misinterpretted bother you.

flacataca was one of the first people i started to talk to. as sweet as she's on the board, that's how she's in person. she's very helpful too.

jennandrob is sweet as well. we work in the same building and met for lunch.

Hbradio, I don't know you very well, but I love your avatar!! And from your posts, i see that your sweet and funny!

As far as the wedding plans, I'm in slo-mode since it's almost holiday time and I'm not due to make any major choices until early Feb. So right now I am playing around with songs for our wedding favor (CD)

I have to say, everyone here is so kind and supportive, but I do have to give a little shout-out to Kimberly, Diva, Flaca and Ang, who always check on me when I get quiet on the boards, thanks ladies you are the greatest!

First - Jen is such an amazing person & I feel really lucky that she is on this board. She always has awesome ideas & is really supportive of brides.

Second...I am starting to pull my hair out with this wedding stuff but that's how it goes - ups & downs, ups & downs... I am currently working full time and going to grad school PT & doing 20hrs a week of an internship...so I have no life left!

OK, OK I know I have answered this thread like nine times but I love it so much and GASP saw it fall to the dreaded Page 2. SO!
Happy is a sensitive and thoughtful person who takes special efforts to be kind to whomever she responds to, no matter what the subject. I think that is an awesome trait.
I am still no closer to picking STD's, FG dresses, dressing my mom, and coordinating linens. I am still sort of in a planning lull.

I totally hear you. I am in grad school F/T also doing my internship AND working F/T....so I can totally relate to what you are going through. Happy Planning and just believe it will work out. I'd love to talk and get to know ya better!

Mable: I always notice that you respond to everyone's posts no matter whether its just a one liner or longer. You always have a nice encouraging thing to say! (And i remember you because you and your FH have such happy smiles on)

Me: I've been on the boards since last year and am finally starting to 'feel' the pressure. I'm beyond excitement at moments and will sometimes jump around the house that I'm getting married! (my dogs think I'm crazy) the fun stuff is about to happen (next weekend I turn 30, am renting a beach house for our bridal party, and am mailing out invites) so I couldn't be more excited.
